With the countdown to Christmas underway, only 2 weeks to go. Before all the Christmas festivities and wonder, let’s not add power failure and overload!! As you dust off the Christmas decorations and unreel those wonderful/colourful lights, why don’t you take a moment to stop and think are these safe to use, do I have the correct circuit protection to prevent electric shocks, or do I have enough power points to safely plug all these extra devices in?
Not sure? Why not take up our special pre-Christmas safety check for only $150 inc GST? As a bonus incentive, we at Matthew Taylor Electrical have a limited pre-Christmas offer, for the first 20 customers who take up this pre-Christmas check, we will install an external double weatherproof power point for your Christmas lights display. The only catches are, the pre-Christmas check must be performed before the power point is installed, the power point must be installed within Wiring rules standards, you must be the home owner and live in the Ballarat area, please like us on Facebook and email us a photo of your existing electrical switchboard prior to us coming out to your home, so we can bring everything we need. That is it!!
So be quick there is only 5 remaining!!

Did you know that your smoke detector unit needs to be replaced every 10 years? It surprises me how often people don't know this. There is a manufacturing date stamp on the detector head which lets you know when to replace it. Do this whilst you change the battery/test your detector, and if you find that yours is out of date please give me a call and I can arrange a time to replace for you. It is extremely important to have a working smoke detector to ensure that your family are protected against the outbreak of fire while they sleep.

Does your solar system need servicing? Are all the panels still working properly? When were the panels last cleaned? All solar systems need ongoing maintenance to keep them working efficiently and safely

Matthew Taylor Electrical is proud to be a Ballarat business supporting the Ballarat community through the employment of Sam our second year apprentice.
